“Cleany Room!” Construct 2 Project Game ! [PROPOSAL]

  • Background

Cleany Room is an educational game aimed at kindergarten children who are aged between 6 to 9 years old. and also as one of the requirements to complete the course “Multimedia and Human Computer Interaction”.

  • Project Scope

This game is targeting young user, who are aged 6-10 years old, regardless their gender or educational status. Cleany Room game intended to teach hygiene young people through a fun educational game.

  • Project Description

This single-player game has three main task for the user to do in order to complete the game, the player starts at main room and there will be four rooms door. Moving the player into a door will enter the room.

The first stage of this game is to clean all the messy four available room using a specific tool to clean each trash. A mop to clean poodle, Bin to clean bottle, and bucket to clean dog’s stool. Also, there will be two NPC(Non-Player Character) such as Girl as player’s sister who likes to throw bottle trash and a Dog as a pet which likes to poop regularly. These NPCs movement will be random as they move around the room and spawn stools which user need clean in order to pass this stage.

After user cleaned all the four rooms, the player will be directed to the second stage. It is a mini-game part where the user must catch the trash that falls from above with time already given, the player will have 10 lives and must not lose all the lives within the time in order to pass this stage.

The third stage of the game is the player will be confronted with two kinds of bin, organic and non-organic trash bin. There will be all kind of trashes available and the player must organize those trash by drag and drop each trash into appropriate trash bin

After all three stages successfully completed. The player will be returned to the main room and be given two choices, whether to restart the game or see the credits.

  • Environment

Softwares that being used to develop this game use Construct 2 as a game engine, and for design purposes in order to create assets and background, we used Adobe Photoshop CC, Adobe Illustrator CC, eLouai Online Room Maker and for ease of data transfer and online backup, we used Google Drive.
